The deep crises that we face in America stem from a political system that has lost touch with its people because we keep electing individuals who are not transparent, responsive, or accountable. We deserve to feel represented.

We are building a new kind of politics that is rooted in community and values, not partisanship. We know that real representation starts with the people. Our work is about respect, listening, inclusivity, and fighting for each other. What kind of world will we build?

We’re committed to a 100% positive politics that can bring us together, not tear us apart. The organizing and campaigns that we support will leave their communities better off and more empowered than they found them.

The Principles and Fights below are not exhaustive but represent our core commitments.

OUR PRINCIPLES

  • Rooted and Together: Additive and collaborative grassroots organizing with a focus on state and local levels.

  • Quality, Not Quantity: A focus on quality, depth, community, and retention over recruitment.

  • Simply Talking: Face-to-face conversation, rooted in empathetic listening, to meet rural Americans where they are–whether at their doorstep, a local diner, or their church. 

  • Building Movements: A commitment to intergenerational multi-racial organizing.

  • Equity and Equality: Acknowledging that many have less access, resources, & opportunities and that we must strive for an equitable America.

OUR FIGHTS

  • Resiliency, from local climate solutions to small businesses, farms, and sustainable agriculture. 

  • A strong education system that can support our children, teachers, and adults.

  • Accessible and affordable healthcare, including mental health and substance use care. 

  • Rural residents deserve broadband. 

  • Transportation for access to food, jobs, healthcare, and community. 

  • Free and fair voting access. 

  • The right to choose what happens to our bodies. 

  • The right to love who you want, identify how you want, and the freedom to choose.

  • Centering racial justice and aligning with movements for equity.
